DISCOVER WHAT SETS OUR CAMPERVANS APART
BTR Outfitters is your Gateway to Ultimate Comfort and Freedom. Plus, we have our campervan experts standing by to answer all your campervan questions.
Seats/Sleeps 4-6 Room for more people, pets & stuff
The majority of campervans for sale are equipped for 2, but ours have enough seats and sleeping space for a family of 4, 5 and 6. We focus on floorplans that incorporate enough front facing seats (that meet industry safety standards) to accommodate your whole crew. Plus, we make sure you can sleep as many as you can seat. This, combined with extra storage space on your roof and the towing capacity to haul a trailer, gives you lots of room for all your favorite people, pets and stuff. If you’re looking for a campervan that has enough space to go on an adventure with your family and friends, we’ve got you covered.
Industry Leading Pop Top Roof
The dual lift system is the most robust in the industry, and is remote operated. It also has a wall mounted safety switch.
Our beds are the largest available (most beds are 48” x 80”), with 3” foam bed pads that are covered with soft, durable fabric.
Access your pop top from the interior of the van through a 44” x 35” opening- no need to be exposed to the elements on your way to bed.
Your pop top’s wood-reinforced, fiberglass top is stout and it’s designed to carry added weight. Enjoy extra storage with your roof rack and load it up with all your adventure gear.
Equipped with six remote controlled LED lights and a wall mounted dimmer switch. Easily charge your devices while you sleep with the dual USB port at the head of your bed.
Surrounded by our multi-layer, three season tent material and six weather tight windows with zip down blackout panel, crystal clear vinyl and screen. Enjoy the flexibility of an unrestricted photo shoot and beautiful views or being fully enclosed during inclement weather.
Built for Adventure: Off-Road Capable
Most of our vans have four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive, upgraded all terrain wheels and tires, front bumpers and suspension to make your van more off-road worthy. You may not go primitive camping every time (we love a good campground once in a while) but it’s nice to know your vehicle can handle the terrain. 4WD is great for snow and ice too!
Powerful Towing Technology
GM & Ford chassis are our bread and butter, and we picked them for their powertrains. When you’re traveling with 4-6 people and your campervan is loaded with gear, you’re going to want a capable motor like the Chevy 6.6L gas engine or Ford EcoBoost. Maybe you want to haul a trailer full of kayaks for a river adventure or a couple of UTVs and 4 wheelers to go exploring- you don’t want to be limited by your towing capacity. The little Mercedes diesel just doesn’t have the oomph to pull a decent sized trailer along with the added weight of the campervan conversion. We know Mercedes Sprinters are a well-known chassis in the campervan industry, and we’ll carry those occasionally because they are still a great option. But, often more people equals more stuff, and we want to make sure your campervan can handle the extra weight.
Large Service Networks
It’s inevitable that at some point during the life of your campervan something will break…and it’s often at inopportune times (like on vacay). Which is why we decided focus on chassis brands, like Ford and GM, that have broader service networks and cost less to maintain. Knowing Mercedes has been the chassis of choice for the last several years, we wanted to tackle the issues around servicing your campervan while on the road. We think you will appreciate the benefits of driving a domestic chassis, and enjoy more time on the road and less time waiting on parts and repairs because of it!
Hassle-Free Comfort: Power
Most of our vans will come with a lithium battery system that provides 540+ amp hours of power with a DC to DC charger and isolator, 200w solar power system and an inverter charger. Our large battery bank allows you to stay off grid longer and run your favorite amenities (like air conditioning) with peace of mind. You also have the option to use your shore power hookup when you have access to a power supply.
Creature Comforts
Whether you are on an extended trip or you’re a weekend warrior, certain amenities can feel like a necessity rather than a luxury. When it comes to things like a fresh cup of coffee, staying cool after a hot summer day or cooking your favorite meal for the crew, our campervans deliver. Enjoy your 12V rooftop A/C, gas powered heater and water heater, induction cooktop and many other features that provide the conveniences of home while you adventure in your campervan.
Premium Components
We stick to brands and products that are known for their quality and reliability when equipping our campervans. You’ll appreciate having high-end components like Isotherm Cruise Fridges, Xantrex Inverter/Chargers, Dometic A/C, SOK lithium batteries, Thermozite insulation and other industry bests. You are looking at an expertly crafted campervan that will continue to prove its value as you put more miles on it.
Intuitive Systems
Our campervan systems are straightforward- robust but simple. If you’ve been around campervans, you know that they can have complex electrical systems! When something breaks you almost have to be an electrical engineer to figure out which wire goes to what. If something breaks on our campervans, it can be as effortless as finding the fuse, replacing it and getting back on the road. You get the best of both worlds without compromising on functionality- skillfully constructed systems and user-friendly equipment.
